EAST Kilbride Thistle are on the lookout for two new physios in time for the new season.
With the first team physio Karen Mullen leaving the club after two seasons due to work commitments, manager Colin Mitchell's men have started a search for a replacement.
And the new ladies’ first team being launched by the East Kilbride club also need a physio in time for the new season.
Both physios would need to be available for the club training sessions which are being organised for Monday and Thursday evenings for the men's team and Tuesday and Thursday for the ladies team.
Match days are Saturdays for the men’s team and Sundays for the ladies’ team.
Pre-season has already started for the ladies team and is only a week away for the men's team, so successful applicants would be able to start immediately.
Anyone interested in applying for the positions can contact Director of Football Darren Waugh on 07766 116496 or email their CV to contact@ekthistlefc.co.uk
The Jags are also on the lookout for a budding sports journalist to join their team and help publicise the club activities.
The successful applicant will most likely be someone who is planning a career in sports journalism, or is in the middle of or has recently completed a journalism course, and is looking for relevant work experience.
The position will primarily require the writing of first team match reports and team news articles for the local press and club website.
However, with Thistle's full youth development structure for both boys and girls, and continued involvement in community initiatives, there is plenty of scope for a wide variety of articles.
Anyone interested in the position should contact Darren Waugh on 07766 116496, or email their CV to contact@ekthistlefc.co.uk.
