Thistle set to expand youth development

EAST Kilbride Thistle are expanding their Youth Development Programme throughout the local area.

And now the club are looking for qualified coaches to help assist the Showpark side with their new plans.

Ideally, those interested will have the Level Two qualification in the Scottish Football Association Children's or Youth Pathways, although Level One is also acceptable, as training is available.

All successful applicants will also be encouraged to progress their coaching training within the club, enhancing their qualifications.

There are also limited places available for players born in 1999 in Thistle's Under 10s team.

And finally, with the new session just starting, East Kilbride Thistle's successful Soccer School is looking for new recruits.

Anyone aged between four and six-years-old can join in on a Sunday afternoon at the Ballerup all-weather pitches. Progression to the Fun Four-A-Side teams is also available.

All you have to do is go along on the day and join in the fun.
