Chance to follow in footsteps of Barry Ferguson

DO you have what it takes to be a football star of the future maybe even the next Barry Ferguson?

Well, if you do, you’ll be delighted to hear the Rangers Soccer School is returning to the town.

And the East Kilbride News has teamed up with the Rangers Soccer School to offer two lucky readers a place on their October holiday football training programme taking place at East Kilbride Fives centre.

All you have to do is answer the following question:

Send your answer on a postcard, complete with your name, address and daytime contact number to Rangers Competition, East Kilbride News, 2 Olympia Arcade, East Kilbride, Glasgow, G74 1LX.

And you’ll have to be quick if you want to win because you must have your entries in no later than 11am on Friday, October 10.

Entries will be drawn soon after and the winners will be notified by the club about their places which start on October 13.

The football centres run from Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17 and take place at East Kilbride Fives.

Open to boys and girls age three to 14 years-old of all abilities, the classes allow youngsters to improve their dribbling, passing and shooting techniques, learn a variety of attacking moves and develop their game awareness through technical practices, fun games and small-sided matches.

Don’t worry if you don’t win though, as there are still places available.
