Mouse in curry sauce

CATE Bartlett from Cornwall got a shock when she opened a jar of curry cooking sauce.

She thought the Extra Special Tikka Massala sauce from supermarket giant Asda was a bit lumpy. Grabbing a spoon she soon discovered that something had made its way into the jar that shouldn't have - a mouse!

Asda have withdrawn the product from sale and issued a statement describing it as an "isolated incident".

They have launched an investigation as have environmental health officers from Cornwall Council.
