Buying your loved one an Easter egg this year? How about a £1000 chocolate Easter egg?

The eggstravagant egg is on sale in department store, Selfridges in London.

The pricey eggs contain a gold coin and the store says that buying these eggs is a worthwhile investment.

The one troy ounce gold coin is worth around £900, which is 75% higher than it was in  2005. 

Forecasters expect the value to rise even further.
