Man's stab death sparks murder hunt

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was found dead at a house.

Police said they were called to the property in Mossgiel Crescent, Dundee, at about 10.20pm on Sunday, to a report of a man having been injured in an attack.

The victim, who had been stabbed, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been formally identified.

Tayside Police said the area was searched but the attacker has not yet been caught.

The house has been cordoned off and an investigation is under way.
