Biker killed in accident named

A motorcyclist who died after he lost control, was thrown from his bike and hit a bus has been named by police.

Alistair Babes, 42, died at the scene in Glasgow Road, Blantyre, on Friday.

The accident happened when he was riding his Suzuki motorcycle northbound close to a junction shortly after 5pm.
