Beautiful sunny weather was the order of the day for Claremont Ramblers when they journeyed to the Scottish Borders.
The group enjoyed a circular eight mile walk around the base of Mendick Hill, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside en route on this crystal clear day.
At lunch, the walkers enjoyed a glass of warm mulled wine, which hit the spot with everyone.
The coffee stop was in the Coffee Spot in Biggar and the social hour was in various pubs in that town.
The next walk is to Langlands Golf Club on Wednesday, January 2.
The walk will start off at 10.30am from Calderglen High School. There will be soup and sandwiches available if anyone wishes.
The re-scheduled annual general meeting is on Tuesday, January 8, at 7.30pm in Claremont Church hall. All members are welcome.
The committee thank all members and visitors for their support throughout the year, and wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
