SCIAF make call for aid to Congo

SCOTLAND’S leading international aid agency is calling on the people of Lanarkshire to make urgent donations to a worldwide appeal to help thousands of people in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Generous supporters in Lanarkshire have already donated an incredible £3,690 to SCIAF’s appeal but more money is desperately needed to help those most in need.

SCIAF has already forwarded £50,000 in emergency aid which will also help supply 32 local health organisations with medical supplies and support women who have been subjected to rape and sexual violence.
