IT SEEMS hapless lorry drivers will never get to grips with the little bridge at Newhousemill Road.
Signs warning drivers to ignore their satellite navigation systems have been up for well over a year now but some truckers are still not getting the message.
The back road to Hamilton was closed for some time on Tuesday when a massive vehicle was forced to backtrack after coming to a sudden halt at the notorious bridge.
It has caused traffic chaos on many occasion over the years and South Lanarkshire Council even went to the trouble of contacting the producers of satellite navigation systems to inform them of the problem.
